Swallows FC have announced the signing of Zambian forward, Mwape Musonda.
This comes after Musonda returned back to South Africa after he left Black Leopards at the end of the 2019/2020 season to join Hatta, playing in the UAE Pro League.
He also had a stint in the Saudi Arabia with Al-Sahel on loan.
The 30-year-old frontman will be hoping to solve a lot of prevailing issues at the Dube Birds, who played 20 draws last season.
Musonda has a lot to offer as an attacker. He managed to finish the 2018/19 PSL campaign as the leading goalscorer with 16 goals.
Another great aspect of Musonda’s gameplay is his creativity. A large chunk of creative responsibility and scoring goals fell on Ruzaigh Gamildien at Maswaiswai last term, having found the back of the net on 12 occasions in 24 league appearances.
With the arrival of the former Golden Arrows goal poacher, things may change for the better in the upcoming new season as far as Swallows’ attack is concerned.
