Mutizwa sets new record at Arrows

Zimbabwean international Knox Mutizwa has become the all time top goalscorer for Lamontville Golden Arrows.

‘The Hitman’, as he is popularly known, scored his 40th goal for ‘Abafana Bes’thende’ yesterday in their 3-1 win over Marumo Gallants in a DStv Premiership clash.

He surpassed Mabhuti Khenyeza who previously held the record with 39 goals.

Mutizwa joined the KZN-based outfit in 2017 from the now defunct Bidvest Wits.

The 27-year-old forward already has three goals across all competitions for Arrows in the current campaign.

Mutizwa will be hoping to continue with his consistency as aims to become an outstanding prolific goal machine for Lehlohonolo Seema’s side.
