FARPost can reveal that midfield maestro Pharhutshedzo Nange could be joining Western Cape club, Stellenbosch.
Nange was initially headed for Kaizer Chiefs after asking for and getting his clearance from Tshakhuma, who bought the status of his previous employers, Bidvest Wits.
He began training with Amakhosi recently, but the move was scuppered by the fact that Chiefs’ transfer ban appeal failed.
Chiefs have been banned for two transfer windows after world football controlling body FIFA found they signed Madagascan international ‘Dax’ illegally, which in turn has affected potential deals, including one with Nange.
While Nange is most likely to play for Chiefs in the 2021/22 season, for now he has to play elsewhere for this current season and FARPost sources have made it clear that Stellenbosch are doing everything in their power to land the midfielder.
Stellies are confident of getting the deal done by Monday.
