Zambia Super League side Napsa Stars has confirmed the appointment of Chintu Kampamba in the role of an assistant coach on a two-year deal.
Kampamba was until recently an assistant to Levy Chabala at Kabwe Warriors but was excused from his contract with the Magnificent People’s team.
The Pensioners confirmed the development in a press statement by their media and public relations officer Gwen Mulundu Chipasula
“NAPSA Stars is delighted to announce that the club has beefed up its technical bench with the inclusion of Chintu Kampamba as First Assistant coach,” read the statement.
“Mr. Kampamba joins the coaching staff led by Coach Mohamed Fathi, second assistant Geoffrey Hamakwenda, physical trainer Donwell Yobe, and goalkeeper trainer Lameck Nyangu. Mr. Kampamba emerged successfully out of the four candidates that were interviewed for the second-highest coaching role at the club,” the club said.
Before joining Napsa Kampamba has had stints with Super Division side Power Dynamos and most recently with Kabwe Warriors.
