LUKE LE ROUX, KEANIN AYER & TASHREEQ MATTHEWS
It was a memorable weekend for the former SuperSport United midfielder, Le Roux, as he started and played the entire 90 minutes for Swedish outfit Varbergs Bois as they got a hard earned point drawing 2-2 with giants Malmo.
Ayer also started against Malmo and was substituted after 85 minutes in the game while compatriot Tashreeq Matthews was a second half substitute coming on for the last five minutes in the game against the former Swedish champions.
The SA U23 international was introduced after 72 minutes for Portuguese top tier side Moreirense who will be pleased with getting an away point after drawing 1-1 against Vitoria Guimaraes.
The big centre forward continued his integration into the team coming on for the last 14 minutes of the game for Korean K-league side Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors as they narrowly won 1-0 against Gwangju to stay top of the table with 21 points after eight games played so far.
The former Cape Town City winger will be very pleased after getting his first ever assist for Danish side AGF Aarhus who won a seven goal thriller. Danish second tier side HB Koge got a much needed away point against Vendsysell as the game ended with a 1-1 draw. Jordan started and played 81 minutes of the match as Koge pushes to finish higher up in the league.
Bafana hopeful Tom Barkhuizen played the entire 90 minutes and grabbed an assist for Preston North Ends as they played out to a 1-1 draw against Luton in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon.
