The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) have elected new Executive Committee members headed by Chairman Mark Carmichael.
The other committee comprises six members in Mashumi Shongwe, Rudolph Matsenjwa, Sipho ‘Tsetla’ Bhembe, Charles Matsebula, Victor Rodrigues and Sibusiso ‘Scorpion’ Nxumalo.
The PLE also recently met with the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) for an introduction meeting held last week Friday.
PLE Chief Operations Officer Pat Vilakati said the meeting was aimed at strengthening the healthy working relationship between them and EFA.
“The Executive Committee recently visited the Football Association, where the new committee met with the president. The president appreciated the visit and the committee promised to work closely with the EFA in improving the standard of football in the country,” he said.
Meanwhile, EFA President Adam ‘Bomber’ Mthethwa, who was in the company of the organisation’s CEO Frederick Mngometulu, appreciated the PLE Executive Committee’s visit to his office.
Mthethwa wished the committee the best of luck during their term of office and further promised to work with them in improving football in the country.
