Power Dynamos striker Alex Ng’onga has terminated his contract with the club to end a ten-year stay with the Kitwe-based giants.
Ng’onga who has not seen a lot of game time in the last two years exercised his right of termination in accordance with the provisions of football laws governing players’ contracts.
In a statement, the club has also revealed that they have decided to accept his request to let him go for greener pastures.
“Club Chief Executive Officer, Happie Munkondya explained that the Player exercised his right of termination in accordance with the provisions of football laws governing players’ contracts,” the club said.
“He went on to explain that the club management reviewed the request and agreed to part on mutual separation, in the interest of the club and for the furtherance of the player’s football career,” the statement further read.
The 28-year-old was part of the squad that won the league in 2011. He spent a season on loan at Nchanga Rangers in 2013 and went to spend another two years at CF Mounana between 2015 and 2017.
