Thulani Serero, Bongani Zungu, Kamohelo Mokotjo and Dean Furman have all made their return to the senior national team as coach Molefi Ntseki named his squad to face Sao Tome and Principe next month in back to back 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
For the first time in months the number of overseas-based players has gone up in the Bafana Bafana side with nine players named in the squad and the total number has gone up by three compared to the last Bafana camp held in Royal Bafokeng earlier this month.
After their convincing performances in October, new recruits in Luther Singh and Thibang Phete have both kept their spots in the squad while Darren Keet, Keagan Dolly and Percy Tau complete the overseas contingent in the squad.
Bafana Bafana is set to host Sao Tome in Durban at Moses Mabhida Stadium on the 13th of November and travel away to Sao Tome three days later for the second game.
