Golden Arrows left back Zolani Nkombelo has left the Durban-based side to join TS Galaxy, ahead of the new DStv Premiership season.
The Matatiela-born player saw minimal game time last season with Divine Lunga cementing his place in the position.
This publication has learnt that Nkombelo has joined Galaxy in search of game time and to resurrect his career.
A source close to the player confirmed that Nkombelo has concluded a transfer to TS Galaxy, though its not clear if it’s a loan or a permanent move.
Though both teams have not confirmed the transfer, Arrows have already taken his jersey number (2) and given it to one of the new players.
The 27-year-old player arrived at Arrows in 2017 from Mbombela United and has struggled with injuries that kept him off the pitch.
He has played under coaches like Clinton Larsen, Steve Komphela and Mandla Ncikazi and couldn’t command a starting berth.
