With just less than seven games before the end of the GladAfrica Championship 2020/21 season, Royal AM are taking one game at a time.
The club has recently appointed Sazi Ngubane as the new coach after the controversial departure of Floyd Mogale who took the team to the top three on the log.
The Maritzburg-based team have been one of the contenders for the league title, which is wide open up to 10 teams.
Club CEO Sinky Mnisi told FARPost that they do not set any season objectives for the technical team besides focusing on the next match.
“It’s a tough league, it’s a tough division and all the teams are looking for promotion, we are just happy to play one game at a time.
“We’ve never given anybody any mandate, including myself as a CEO there is nobody who has any mandate whatsoever,” said Mnisi.
The former Highlands Park CEO further revealed that their objective is about hard work and maintaining unity in the team.
“Well, it’s just working hard and working together and staying united all the time,” concluded Mnisi.
Royal AM will welcome log leaders Richards Bay FC at Chatsworth Stadium today at 15:00.
This promises to a be cracker of a match with both teams having dropped crucial points in their previous league matches.
