Noko Matlou has signed a new one-year contract with SD Eibar.
The new deal will see the Banyana Banyana stalwart stay at the Spanish side until 2022.
The Limpopo-born footballer joined Eibar in October 2020 from Hollywoodbets Super League side, First Touch Ladies.
She managed to play a total number of 18 league games in the just-ended Primera Iberdrola League, the highest level of women’s football in Spain.
The 35-year-old has represented the South African women’s national football team both as a striker and a defender. In 2008, She became the first South African to be named African Women’s Footballer of the Year.
