Noko Matlou shines as First Touch climb up table


Banyana Banyana veteran Noko Matlou continued with her fine goal scoring form in the National Women’s League after grabbing her 9th goal of the season in 10 games.

The 34-year-old scored one and assisted twice during First Touch Academy’s 5-1 win over Richmond Ladies at the Nike Centre Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

First Touch won on the day.

The win takes First Touch to 3rd position on the 12-team log, 10 points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, who won 3-1 against Golden Ladies on the same day.

Richmond United Ladies‏ from the Northern Cape are still bottom of the log after collecting just three points in their 10 matches.
