News reaching FARPost is that Cape Town City winger Riyaad Norodien will be leaving the club before the current transfer window slams shut.
The former SA U23 international’s initial contract expires on 30 June 2023.
He arrived at City from Orlando Pirates in July 2018. So far he has played only 11 games out of the 19 league encounters the club has played so far this season, providing only one assist.
According to an insider, even though the club is prepared to sell the player, they are currently still locked in discussions with the former Ajax Cape Town star as there are a couple of Absa Premiership clubs that want to have him on board.
“Eyi haa Norodien no one knows where he is right now. I last saw him in training last week. I think it was Friday. This week he never showed up. Yesterday the team trained and he was not there,” said the insider.
Cape Town City chairman John Comitis couldn’t be reached for a comment.
