The referees’ fitness test which was scheduled to take place on 19 December 2020, furthermore being postponed to 17 January 2021 will now take place today.
The fitness test is set to take place at the Mmabatho Stadium in Mahikeng at 09:00 in the morning.
As per Fifa rules, the referees and assistant referees must undergo tests to measure their ability to perform in matches and they are expected to pass the Fifa fitness test at least once a year to be considered for match selections of the season.
“The province wishes referees well for the upcoming fitness test,” read the statement.
The league duties will resume on the 10th of March, with the province having Wednesday and Saturday fixtures.
