Samir Nurkovic has continued his impressive form in Kaizer Chiefs colours and with the team doing wonders in the Absa Premiership, he’s appealed for patience.
On Wednesday night, Nurkovic was Man of the Match after bagging a brace in Chiefs’s 4-0 victory over Stellenbosch.
The hard to please Amakhosi supporters were still reeling from the club’s Telkom Knockout exit after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Maritzburg United at the semifinal stage.
But the League offers a great opportunity for Chiefs to end their 5-year trophy drought.
The Serbian striker has assured the Chiefs supporters that they are doing everything they can to salvage some silverware by the end of the season.
“There’s no title that any team has won in November, there’s still a lot of games to play, we just need to continue with the same spirit…in the end it will be okay for us I’m sure,” he told SuperSport TV.
“This happened to the best teams in the world, even Barcelona (of Spain)… we needed this victory to take back our confidence and we’ll go from week to week.”
“We have to collect as much as possible points and in the end we’ll see,” he added.
