Under-fire Baroka coach Wedson Nyirenda is confident he still has the backing of chairman Khurishi Mphahlele amid talks of losing his job.
Bakgaga have suffered 4 straight defeats in the Absa Premiership and languish at position 14 on the log.
The former Zambia coach was reportedly given a mandate to either win the match against AmaZulu on Sunday or go.
That match ended 1-0 in favour of AmaZulu, whose goal came from a penalty by Bonginkosi Ntuli.
“The chairman knows what I am doing, he knows what I can do and I think something is going to come out for the players,” said Nyirenda after their defeat at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
“You know players are very different people. Before you even ask them a question at training they already have an answer. But come match day they are not going to do it,” he said.
Baroka will host Mamelodi Sundowns in a league match on Wednesday, November 6.
This would be their official 100th League match since their promotion a couple of years ago.
