Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila have officially announced the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Lebese.

Lebese joins on a short deal until the end of the season from American side Switchbacks where he was forced to terminate his contract due to covid-19 travel restrictions.

As reported by FARPost on 1 April, the player has already started training with his new teammates.

“TTM F.C. also signed George Lebese, former Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Switchback (USA) striker, Mathews Tshwarelo Bereng and Blessing Mokgope, who has been promoted from TTM development. He also played for Ollesdas FC, which is in the ABC Motsepe League,” the club said in a statement on Tuesday.

Although the 32-year-old has already been registered with the league, he is unlikely to feature when TTM face Mamelodi Sundowns at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the club has also announced several changes within the management set up.

Setiamotho Sello is the club’s General Manager; Monica (Momo) Seletela has taken over as the new Marketing Manager of the club; while Rufus Matsena has been appointed as Spokesperson and Club Liaison Manager.
