Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer does not want to talk about challenging for the Absa Premiership title but says his team is taking it one game at a time.
The Buccaneers produced a stunning performance to humble Polokwane City 4-1 at Peter Mokaba on Tuesday night.
It was a second win in 3 games for the German since taking over from interim coach Rulani Mokwena.
With Pirates now 11 points below leaders Chiefs with 14 matches to go, Zinnbauer does not want to raise the hopes of the Buccaneers faithful by saying they can challenge for the title.
“No, we look for one game to the other game and it’s not possible now that we can speak more (on challenging for the title),” insisted Zinnbaeur.
“It’s hard work now for the players and it’s hard work for me and we will see what is coming in the next weeks and the next months maybe,” Zinnbauer told the media in Polokwane.
Pirates will take on Mamelodi Sundowns in their next league encounter on Wednesday, January 15.
