Limpopo born former footballer Andries Sebola is certain that at least one team from his home province will be relegated at the 2019/10 Absa Premiership season.
The province currently has 3 teams in Baroka, Black Leopards and Polokwane City of which all 3 are currently rocked at the bottom of the log with less than 11 games to play.
The number of teams increased with the promotion of Leopards last season, but the former Orlando Pirates striker feels that number will certainly decrease to only 2 teams by the end of this season.
“It is still early to predict which team is going down but like I said one will go to the play offs and one will be relegated so that’s the only thing. I don’t know which one Polokwane, Baroka or Leopards I don’t know which one,” he told FARPost.co.za.
“You can see this League when you win 2 games in a row you move up the table. You see Baroka now they are there on the 13th position, so you can see if you win 2 games then you are in the top 8,” he said.
Baroka have collected 20 points from their 20 matches, Leopards are 14th with 17 points while Rise and Shine are second from bottom with 17 points from 20 matches.
