Onyango on trial at Highlands Park

Highlands Park head coach Owen Da Gama has confirmed that former Maritzburg United defender Brian Mandela Onyango is being assessed by the club.
The Tembisa-based side’s defence have let in a total of 26 goals in the 19 league matches they have played so far this season.
The Kenyan is said to be targeting a deal with Highlands following a failed trial at Orlando Pirates in September last year.
Onyango was surprisingly released by Maritzburg United prior to the start of the 2019/20 Season.
Before trying his luck at Highlands Park, he trained with Baroka.
“No there is nothing (at the moment), he just came yesterday. He just arrived yesterday,” Da Gama told FARPost.
