From almost a done deal to no deal at all, that’s the story of Brandon Parusnath and SuperSport United.
The Tshwane outfit made a sharp curve on the last day of the negotiations about a week ago, when they decided against signing the industrious midfielder.
Parusnath had been training with Matsatsantsa for two weeks and he was expected to sign a deal with the club last week Friday, but the club decided otherwise.
This publication has been informed that SuperSport United were hoping to sell one of their midfielders by last week, in order to sign Parusnath.
Both Teboho Mokoena and Sipho Mbule have attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns but no deal has been agreed on.
The club wanted to replace either of their midfielders with Parusnath, but they have since stalled the deal with both players looking to stay.
The 26-year-old is now back in Durban. Meanwhile, there has been talk of a possible move to Kaizer Chiefs.
With the player out of contract at Golden Arrows, Kaizer Chiefs are expected to come knocking for the services of the central midfielder.
