Mozambique international and former Bidvest Wits winger Elias Pelembe has already started training with GladAfrica Championship side Polokwane City.
On Monday, he took part in his first training session with ‘Rise and Shine’.
FARPost confirmed late in February that the 37-year-old will be joining PLK City having returned to South Africa last week.
According to Lance.co.mz, a Mozambique publication, Pelembe, who has been a free agent since he left the now-defunct Wits at the end of last season will sign a contract valid until 30 June 2021.
Penning a deal with PLK City allows the Mozambique captain to return to training regularly and be in line to be selected by the national team coach Luís Gonçalves for the fifth and sixth round of qualification for Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) 2021 against Rwanda and Cape Verde, on the 26th and 31st of March.
