THEMBI KGATLANA & NOKO MATLOU

Both Banyana Banyana stars were involved for SD Eibar in Spain this past weekend.

Kgatlana played the whole game while Matlou was introduced in the second half as Eibar went on to win 1-0 to remain above the relegation zone.

SPHEPHELO SITHOLE

With Thibang Phete still undergoing a 14-day quarantine after traveling to South Africa for the international break, only Sithole was in action for Belenenses this past weekend.

The KZN academy graduate played 81 minutes as the Lisbon side lost 2-0 against Boavista on Sunday afternoon.

THABO CELE

Cele lasted 66 minutes for Cova di Piedade as they drew 1-1 against Feirense in the Portuguese second tier.

KOBAMELO KODISANG

Kodisang played another 90 minutes for SC Braga B, but couldn’t help them avoid a 3-1 against Montalegre in the Portuguese third division.

They remain top of the table in the league with only six games left to play.

MIHLALI MAYAMBELA

The winger was a second half substitute for Academica as they drew 1-1 SC Covihla in the Portuguese Segunda Liga.

This dented their hopes of automatic promotion as they remained fourth on the table.

ETHAN CHISLETT

Chislett got another start for AFC Wimbledon, but couldn’t help them avoid a 1-0 defeat against Plymouth in England’s League One on Friday evening.

SIYABONGA LIGENDZA

Cardiff City U18 got knocked out of the English Youth Cup by West Brom this past weekend.

Ligendza lasted the whole 90 minutes, but couldn’t help the young Blue Birds avoid a 2-1 loss away from home.

MAX MCMILLAN

The striker lasted the whole 90 minutes for Leeds U18 as they lost 4-1 to Newcastle United in the English Youth Cup.

ALWANDE ROADSOY

The teenager was in action for Atalanta’s U19 as they drew 1-1 against AC Milan U19 in the Primavera Division on Friday evening.

KURT ABRAHAMS

The striker got another start and played 77 minutes for KV Westerlo as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Lierse in the Belgian second division on Sunday.

THULANI SERERO

Al Jazira continued their scintillating form in the Arabian Gulf League with a 3-2 win against Al Wasl on Saturday.

Thulani Serero started and played the entire 90 minutes for the log-leaders as they continue their quest for the title.

Phiri returned to action after months of being on the sidelines for EA Guingamp in France.

The Bafana Bafana midfielder got introduced in the 22nd minute of the game, but couldn’t help Guingamp avoid a narrow 1-0 loss against Troyes away from home.

SIYANDA XULU 

Xulu lasted the whole 90 minutes for Hapoel Tel Aviv as they beat Hapoel Hadera 1-0 in the Israel Premier League.
