Russia based duo of striker Evans Kangwa and midfielder Klings Kangwa together with Polokwane City midfielder Salulani Phiri have been dropped from the final list for Zambia’s back-to-back Afcon qualifiers.

The trio was initially named in Milutin Sredojevic’s squad for the back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Algeria and Zimbabwe but was later on dropped with Phiri put on standby.

Phiri was expected to make his return to the Chipolopolo set up after missing the last two qualifiers against Botswana while Klings Kangwa played in the two games.

Evans Kangwa on the other hand captained the Copper Bullets in the 2-1 friendly match win over South Africa last October.

The Chipolopolo Boys have two must win Cameroon 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Algeria and Zimbabwe on 25 and 29 March respectively.
