Orlando Pirates are not leaving any stone unturned as they fight to sign AmaZulu in-form striker Bonginkosi Ntuli.
The former Platinum Stars striker has been the silver lining in Usuthu’s sinking ship this season scoring 10 goals for the bottom of the Absa Premiership log standings club.
A source told FARPost that Pirates want to sign the striker before the transfer window period closure on Friday.
“Yes they are willing to sign him and I think if all goes well they want to have him before Friday. It is going to be tough but you know every player wants to play for a big team like Pirates,” the source said.
However AmaZulu spokesperson Nhlanhla Brilliant Mkhathini said that they are just seeing this in the media.
“Just like you, we are also just hearing it. Bongi has a contract with the team and he is an AmaZulu player and there is nothing official from any team at the moment. That’s what I can tell you,” Mkhathini concluded.
