Orlando Pirates have confirmed that Thembinkosi Lorch’s suspension has been lifted and the forward is cleared to play for the club.
Lorch, together with Justin Shonga were excluded from the ‘Buccaneers’ squad that reported for the Biological Safety Environment (BSE) bubble following a breach of the ‘team’s protocols’.
They have since missed the matches against Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits.
“Lorch has pleaded guilty to all charges that were brought against him by the Club. Lorch further apologised for his misdemeanor and has accepted the sanction imposed on him by the Club,” the club said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The 25-year-old has joined the squad in the BSE Bubble after undergoing his two Covid-19 tests as per the protocols,” read the statement.
Meanwhile, the Club also confirmed that Justin Shonga remains suspended as he awaits the finalization of the disciplinary proceedings against him.
