As a centre-back and leader of the team, Hlatshwayo’s role at Pirates is one of the most important. He is undoubtedly the most experienced player who has been playing regularly since joining the club at the start of the current season.
He has made seven appearances in all competitions so far and has proved to be reliable most of the time and also has a knack for goals when he pushes up for set-pieces.
Hotto has emerged as a key attacking threat for Pirates in the most recent game against Baroka.
The Namibian playmaker grabbed an assist in the draw against the Limpopo-based side. He is surely and slowly becoming a vital member of the Buccaneers.
He will be looking to play a key role on the left-wing and help Pirates beat CT City.
Mabasa is currently in top form as he has scored in each of his last two league matches for Pirates.
The striker started from the bench and come on as an impact player, scoring goals against SuperSport United and Baroka respectively.
He will be eager to maintain his scoring form in Cape Town.
