Orlando Pirates have recalled Justice Chabalala and Mthokozisi Dube from their season-long loan spells at Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows respectively, as per FARPost sources.
The duo appear to have won the admiration of the Pirates management following successful loan stints.
Chabalala struggled to break into the Pirates starting line-up as he was first sent out on loan to Celtic, where he’s been reviving his career under the leadership of John Maduka as he amassed 20 appearances in all competitions last campaign, 17 in the DStv Premiership – playing an instrumental role in the heart of the Celtic defence.
Meanwhile, Dube, who is a Pirates youth graduate has already been informed about his return to his parent club.
Since his promotion to the Soweto giants senior side in 2013, Dube has spent most of his time on loan at Sivutsa Stars, Celtic, and most recently Arrows.
The loan move to Durban seems to have worked in his favour as he made a good impression with 26 league appearances with ‘Abafana Be’Sthende’ concluding the 2020/21 season in fourth place.
