Dino Ndlovu netted a brace this past weekend in Turkey.
The striker continued his great run of form for his new club Kocaelispor where he has established himself as the main source of goals in the 2021/22 campaign.
Ndlovu joined the Turkish second tier club after leaving Chinese League One side Zhejiang Hangzhou Greentown where he netted 42 goals in just 67 appearances.
Before moving to China, Ndlovu played for Azerbaijan giants Qarabag where he won numerous gold medals before making history by scoring the goal that helped the club reach the Uefa Champions League for the first time in their history.
Overall, he scored 20 goals in 55 appearances for Qarabag.
Kocaelispor have brought in the 31-year-old to help them gain promotion to the Super Lig and he has not disappointed so far.
In seven games, the forward has netted five goals and assisted another strike which has seen the club move up to seventh spot on the table with 13 points. They are seven points behind log-leaders Umraniye who have played eight games.
On Saturday, the South African opened the scoring in the ninth minute before Ibrahim Yilmaz scored for Instanbulspor four minutes later to make it 1-1.
Nine minutes into the second half, Kocaelispor took the lead again after another strike by the former SuperSport United attacker who sealed all three points for the home side.
Next up for Kocaelispor is a trip to Keciorengucu after the international break and Ndlovu is expected to lead the front line yet again.
