Portugal-based SA midfielder recovers from Covid-19

South African midfielder Sphephelo Sithole has fully recovered from CCovi-19 after testing positive earlier this month.

Sithole was quarantined for two weeks and has now been cleared by his Portuguese club Beleneses who confirmed this in a statement that he’s raring to go.

“We can confirm that all our players and staff members have tested negative for Covid-19 as we conducted a second round of testing this month.

“Even the U23 player (Sithole) who tested positive has now fully recovered as we continue preparations for the resumption of the league.”

‘Yaya’ will now be putting all his challenges behind him as he looks to make his senior team debut in the Portuguese elite division.

On the 4th of June the Primeira Liga will be resuming and Sithole’s focus will be on helping the club finish up the log.
