Former Cape Town City midfielder Roland Putsche is edging closer to an agreement with AmaZulu FC.
The 30-year-old player who hails from Austria has been earmarked by AmaZulu coach Benni McCarthy as one of the signings for the new campaign.
This publication has been told that McCarthy wants the player to join his team, but there are some terms that the club has not agreed on with the player.
McCarthy worked with Putshe at Cape Town City when they were crowned MTN 8 Champions in 2018.
With Usuthu expected to announce their new players next week Thursday, the Austrian is expected to be among them.
Putsche arrived in South Africa in 2016 and went on to win two trophies with The Citizens in the form of the Telkom Knockout and MTN8.
The holding midfielder, amassed 92 appearances and 10 goals for the Cape Town side, before returning home to reunite with his family in Austria.
