Thabo Rakhale has opened up on his move to Sekhukhune United from Marumo Gallants.
After a stint at Gallants, during which he won the 2021 Nedbank Cup, the 31-year-old winger is delighted that he has joined ‘Babina Noko’ and emphasised the importance of the faith placed in him by the club.
The Vanderbijlpark-born footballer managed to play 27 games across all competitions for his former team last season.
He expressed excitement at linking up with his new teammates at Sekhukhune for the upcoming new season.
“I feel happy to be part of Sekhukhune family and I’m glad I will be with more youngsters that I have known before, the new technical team and new management,” Rakhale told the media.
‘Jomo’, as he is popularly known within the football cycles, has represented the likes of Polokwane City, Orlando Pirates, Chippa United and Sivutsa Stars.
When asked what can the fans expect from him, he then responded by saying that “they can expect the normal ‘Jomo’ they know, as nothing has changed”.
The gifted right-winger hopes that the move works out well, and aims to up his game.
