Tokelo Rantie appears to be on his way out at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Downs coach Pitso Mosimane has seemingly given up on Rantie, who went AWOL recently.
“No, Tokelo it’s discipline issues and at Sundowns we don’t tolerate it,” stated Mosimane after their 3-0 victory over AmaZulu at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
“You know we have taken a lot of players out… you know he must come to training.
“If training starts to disturb your life, then you must be doing some other things than training, so you have to come to training it’s important but we can’t tolerate that kind of ill discipline,” he insisted.
“He’s a good player, good boy I like him I thought a game like this he could come on as a substitute like we bring Aubrey Ngoma but he’s not there I haven’t seen him it’s sad… it’s very sad, we haven’t seen him.”
Rantie was arguably one of the biggest talents to emerge from South African football in recent years and previously played for English Premiership side, Bournemouth.
that’s if anything said by Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is anything to go by.
Rantie joined Sundowns last year September after Mosimane took a gamble and offered the troublesome player a 3-year contract.
