Kaizer Chiefs right-back Reeve Frosler says his mistake against Maritzburg United is now a thing of the past.
In the 2-1 defeat to Maritzburg last weekend, Frosler and goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi had a miscommunication that led to the ‘Team of Choice’ scoring through Daylon Claasen.
“Yeah, I think that happens in football – it’s just unfortunate that there was a bit of miscommunication, but we look forward from there and we go to the next game,” said Frosler this week.
The next game is against Highlands Park in the last 16 round of the Nedbank Cup at Makhulong Stadium tomorrow (15:00).
“We try to correct our mistakes and do better in the next game.”
Frosler, meanwhile, is expecting an interesting match against Highlands, bearing in mind that the last time the two sides met at Makhulong, Chiefs win 3-2 in a League encounter at the beginning of the season.
“If you remember the last time when we played them at Makhulong, there were lots of goals and it was an exciting match.
“So let’s hope we will be scoring some goals this weekend and make it exciting once again,” added Frosler.
