SuperSport United centre-back Clayton Daniels has revealed to FARPost as to why he would love to finish his football career at the Tshwane giants.
The 35-year-old no-nonsense defender from Cape Town is on his last season at ‘Matsatsantsa’ albeit there is still an option.
Daniels who is hoping to remain within the club structures and develop his coaching career, says at the moment he is focused on finishing all the remaining games.
“Well I’m sure me and my boss will sit down and discuss for now I’m focus on the last games and try to win all of our remaining games, “said Daniels.
The former Bafana Bafana international joined the Tshwane based side in 2014 from Bloemfontein Celtic and has featured in SuperSport’s 23 League games this season.
“I wish it is [retirement] with SuperSport because there are possibilities to work after football and that one thing that me and my boss discussed when I came here also, “added the veteran defender.
“Coaching definitely coaching, I’m trying to get to do my badges now already the club is helping me in that regard.
“They made sure there is clause in my contract that when I’m done playing, I do my coaching badges.”
