FARPost.co.za has learnt that Richards Bay FC have parted ways with head coach Ian Palmer

Following the team’s 2-1 loss against Steenberg United on the weekend, the former Orlando Pirates striker has been relieved of his duties.

Richards Bay boss Jomo Biyela also confirmed the departure of Palmer. “Yes, it’s true. We parted ways after a string of poor performance,” he said.

Palmer took over from Thulani Nkosi and Jomo Ntuli, who were co-coaches, in November.

The KwaZulu Natal GladAfrica Championship outfit are currently sitting 12th on the GladAfrica Championship log with only four wins and 17 points so far this season.
