Royal AM have been dealt another blow in their attempt to gain promotion to the DStv Premiership.

Judge Windell of the South Gauteng High Court has dismissed with costs, Royal AM’s application for PSL acting CEO Mato Madlala and the league to be held in contempt of court for the playoffs matches proceedings.

This latest judgement also goes deep on AJ Nyathi’s order which Royal AM had been relying on.

The club owned by businesswoman and socialite Shauwn Mpisane has been called to appear before PSL DC hearing for failure to honour their relegation/promotion play-offs.

The DC has been postponed twice by the PSL and it’s expected to take place on 30 July 2021, the club will answer to their ‘no shows’ in the play-offs.

They failed to honor four matches against Chippa United (2) and Richards Bay FC (2) , in which the former won the mini log and maintained their PSL status.

Club CEO Sinky Mnisi refused to comment on the latest developments and whether they will take the matter further, choosing to say ‘no comment’.
