SA ABROAD: First goal for Mulaudzi, Tau makes impact

RHODA MULAUDZI AND LEBO RAMALEPE

Banyana Banyana striker Rhoda Mulaudzi was introduced after 69 minutes and she scored her 1st goal in Dinamo Minsk colours, while Lebogang Ramalepe played the entire 90 minutes as they claimed a 9-0 victory over ABFF in the Belarus Premier League.

LINDA MOTLHALO

Banyana Banyana midfielder Linda Motlhalo played another solid 90 minutes for Djurgadens DFF as they got crucial 3 points away at Kristianstad as they won 1-0.

Since her move early this year Motlhalo has cemented her place in the starting line-up and in fact the style of the entire team is now centred around her playmaking abilities which can only be good for the former BG Phoenix Rising midfielder.

KURT ABRAHAMS

The Belgian Proximus league returned to action for the 2020/21 season and South African striker Kurt Abrahams featured for 90 minutes for KV Westerlo as they played out to a 0-0 draw against Lierse, with both sides having to settle for a point in the first encounter of the season.

PERCY TAU

For the second game running the Bafana Bafana player came off the bench under the guidance of newly appointed coach Vincent Kompany. Tau was introduced in the 55th minute for Anderlecht and he made an instant impact winning a penalty in the 65th minute of the game which was converted by striker Dimmata to give Anderlecht the lead

Sadly in additional time Anderlecht hearts were broken with Royal Excel Mouscron equalising to make it 1-1 and steal a point, the positive for Tau will be his continued impact off the bench.

LUKE LE ROUX AND TASHREEQ MATTHEWS

Luke Le Roux played the entire 90 minutes while Tashreeq Matthews lasted 71 minutes for Varbergs BoIS as they rallied from a goal down to win 2-1 against Orebro in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday night.

The victory will be a big confidence booster for Varbergs after losing two games in succession against BK Hacken in the league. Keanin Ayer was still out due to a back injury which has now kept him out for four consecutive games in the league.

KEAGAN DOLLY

Former Mamelodi Sundowns winger Keagan Dolly came off the bench in the 70th minute for Montpellier HSC as they played out to a 1-1 draw against FC Metz in what was their final game of preseason before kicking off the season against Olympique Lyon mid-week.

DARREN SMITH AND SIYA KONQOBE

The South African duo played yet another commanding 90 minutes for Ekenas in the Finnish second division with Smith continuing his rich vein of form for Ekenas netting his 7th goal of the season in a 1-1 draw with AC Oulu.

LEBO MOLOTO

After scoring a stunning goal on Thursday for FC Tulsa the attacking midfielder player another 90 minutes ,but couldn’t help FC Tulsa avoid a 2-0 defeat at San Antonio in the USL Championship on Sunday in America.

GEORGE LEBESE

The Former Kaizer Chiefs winger was a second half substitute for Colorado Springs as they played out to a 0-0 draw against El Paso Locomotive in the USA’s second division on Sunday.

MAY MAHLANGU

Former Bafana Bafana midfielder May Mahlangu played the entire 90 minutes for Ordabasy as they claimed a 1-0 win over Kaspiy in the Kazakhstan Premier League.
