Bantu Football Club have confirmed the signing of South African duo Theko Thakho and Keamogetse Wolff from the Free State ABC Motsepe League side Mangaung Unite.
Bantu FC is based in the city of Mafeteng under Lesotho Premier League.
Thakho is a striker while Wolff is a natural left-back but can also play as a centre-back.
Wolff had his fair share of play for some of the South African football popular sides. He played for Ajax Cape Town, AmaZulu FC, Bloemfontein Celtic, Bidvest Wits and Chippa United before joining Mangaung Unite.
“An on-song Thakho is one of the most entertaining players in the field of play. He is far exceeding expectations for a player who had only played in the ABC Motsepe League,” said Bantu.
The Mafeteng-based outfit also stated that they had to de-register the injured Lindokuhle Pungulwa to accommodate one of these two players as far as the foreign quota is concerned because they already had one spot for a foreign player.
“The club wishes to thank these two players’ representatives for enthusiastic negotiations.”
