Tashreeq Matthews, Luke le Roux, and Ryan Moon continue to shine in Sweden.
The trio have established themselves as regulars at Swedish Allsvenskan club Varbergs BoIS who have successfully adapted to life in the top division of Sweden.
In 2019, the club gained promotion to the top-flight and finished in 10th place in their first-ever campaign in the elite division last season.
Keanin Ayer was the first of the South African quintet to join Varbergs, but in the last 18 months, he has been joined by four other players from the Cosafa nation.
Tashreeq Matthews is having his best season since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund last year. The 20-year-old has scored four goals and assisted another four strikes so far this season. His latest assist came as Varbergs dispatched Goteborg 2-1 away from home on Monday night.
Luke le Roux played the entire 90 minutes in the defensive midfield role while former Kaizer Chiefs striker Ryan Moon came off the bench and scored a beautiful second-half goal to help the club secure three crucial points.
Varbergs sit in ninth spot on the log standings with 20 points from their first 16 games of the campaign.
Ayer was an unused substitute in the game after returning from a long spell on the sidelines while Dean Solomons is still out with an injury.
Varbergs will now shift their focus to a home clash against Halmstad on Saturday afternoon.
