South Africa’s Lars Veldwijk has completed a move from South Korea K-League side Jeonbuk to move down a division to K-League 2 side Suwon.
It’s a permanent switch, but no details regarding the contract have been revealed yet.
It was just six months ago when the 28-year-old striker arrived at South Korean champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors from Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam, where he was scoring goals for fun.
But Veldwijk struggled to find his feet at Jeonbuk and mostly played as a substitute.
It therefore comes as no surprise that the man has opted for a switch to Suwon and would be hoping better days lie ahead for him in Asia.
