Senegal forward Sadio Mane has officially inaugurated the new hospital he financed in his hometown of Banbali, Senegal.
The Hospital cost the Liverpool Star over €530,000 (R11-million).
This is not the first time that the 29-year-old contributes to the uplifment of the Senegalese people. He has already helped construct a secondary school in Banbali and has a supermarket named after him.
Mane, who trained with the Senegal U20 rugby team as they prepare for the African Cup, also took time to visit President Macky Sall to touch base on his community work, where he sought government’s contribution of medical personnel for the hospital.
The 2019 African Player of the Year has contributed to the West African nation’s fight against coronavirus, donating £40,000 to the government.
