Hugo Broos has been named the new Bafana Bafana coach.
The Belgian takes over from Molefi Ntseki, who was sacked recently.
Broos is expected in the country on Monday and will bring one of his assistants. The full technical team has not been announced yet.
The former Cameroon national team head coach will put pen to paper on a five-year contract.
He’s a 69-year-old former Belgium international who played over 350 times for Anderlecht in the late 70s and 80s and represented his country 24 times.
Broos is better known for guiding Cameroon to the Africa Cup of Nations title in 2017 but was fired after failing to qualify for the 2018 Fifa World Cup.
