Golden Arrows coach Lehlohonolo Seema is very encouraged by his team’s fighting spirit and how they have started the new season.
Abafana Bes’thende have won two, drew one and lost one in their first four official matches of the season.
The 41-year-old coach is pleased with the side’s performance in all competitions and believes the international break will afford him an opportunity to work on his team.
“I’m happy with the way we are going forward, we gonna have a little bit of a break it’s a been a nice tight block for us, but the guys they deserve some rest,” he stated.
“We’ll regroup and come back stronger when we come play the next game of the league,” Seema said.
The Abafana Bes’thende mentor was happy with his team’s performance against Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final, though his side conceeded at home.
“It was against a very spirited Sundowns and I’m happy with one thing, that as Golden Arrows we kept shape and you could see they were pressing us very high but we managed to get out.”
