South African youth international striker Kgaogelo Sekgota has joined former Absa Premier league champions Bidvest Wits from Portuguese side Vitoria Setubal.
Sekgota joined Setubal in January 2019 from Lithuanian side Stumbras where he had won the league title and a few cups before deciding to join the Primeira Liga outfit.
The U23 international made a few first team appearances for Setubal but generally struggled to get much needed game time which might have been a big motivation for his move back to South Africa where he will be playing in the top flight for the first time.
Vitoria Setubal and Wits enjoy a very healthy relationship which has allowed transfers between the two clubs to be smooth.
The 22-year-old will be hoping to get going with Wits who are part of the title chasing pack.
