GladAfrica Championship side Sekhukhune FC have agreed a deal to sign former Polokwane City captain Jabu Maluleke for the 2020/21 season, confirmed #FARPost sources.
Star midfielder Maluleke parted ways with Rise and Shine along with Zimbabwean goalkeeper George Chigova, defenders in Simphiwe Hlongwane and Sibusiso Mbonani following the club’s relegation to the second-tier league at the end of the 2019/20 season.
The 38-year-old has played over 350 matches in the Premier Division for teams like Polokwane, SuperSport United and Black Leopards with 34 goals and 61 assists to his name.
Maluleke is the second experienced campaigner moving to Sekhukhune as Zimbabwean goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini penned a deal with the club recently.
The club bought the GladAfrica Championship status of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) and will be competing in the professional ranks for the first time.
