Kamaldeen Sulemana was on target for Stade Rennes in Ligue 1.
The Ghanaian winger scored a brace as Rennes thrashed newly promoted side Clermont Foot 6-0.
His outstanding perfomance earned him a Man of the Match award at the Roazhon Park Stadium to help Bruno Genesio’s side secure three crucial points.
The two strikes took his season tally to three in seven games for the club following his summer move from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland.
With this resounding win, Rennes moved up to 12th spot on the table with nine points from the first seven games.
Up next for Rennes are Bordeaux on match day eight.
Kamaldeen joined The Red and Blacks on a five-year deal in July.
His big move came on the back of a fine season for Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga where he netted 10 times in 29 matches.
