Thulani Serero has extended his contract with Arabian Gulf League side Al Jazira.
The 30-year-old has penned a two-year extension with the club which will keep him in the United Arab Emirates until 2023.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Serero said he has found a new home and is happy to extend his stay with the club.
“Since joining the club in 2019 I have felt at home and thrilled to extend my contract with this great club.
“The fans have welcomed me since day one and I want to give back to them and I am targeting silverware during my time at the club. I would like to thank everyone at the club from my teammates to the fans to the board of directors for their support which really means a lot.”
Serero has made 16 league appearances and 16 more in cup competitions since his arrival from Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem in 2019.
