Umlazi Arsenal attacking midfielder Sinethemba Shange is happy to be part of the team that is campaigning in the Sasol KwaZulu Natal League though she is concerned about her age.
The 25-year-old attacker like any other soccer player, dreams of playing for her national team but she is worried that age might not be in her side.
“It is my wish to play for Banyana Banyana but I think my age might be a challenge for me. If it happens I’d be very happy, it would be the highlight of my career.”
She further told FARPost that her team is ready to fight to win the league this season.
“It’s great to be here, the Sasol League has some tough teams but we try to fight for the team and challenge other teams.
“Our aim is to be in position one, so that we can qualify for playoffs,” said Shange.
“We are working hard as a team though there are challenges because of Covid-19 but we try to work towards the goals of the team and individual ambitions.
“Some players are working and others are at school, so whenever we train we try to work harder for the team,” she added.
