Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of striker Justin Shonga from Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM).
‘The Citizens’ made the announcement on Tuesday via their social media accounts.
The Zambian penned a deal with TTM after he was released by Orlando Pirates at the end of last season but left the Limpopo side last month as reported by FARPost as it appears the club can simply no longer afford to keep the marksman.
“Cape Town City has reached a transfer agreement with TTM for the acquisition of Justin Shonga. The Zambian international centre-forward signs a deal until June 2024. Welcome to Cape Town Shonga,” reads the CT City statement.

The 24-year-old made seven appearances for TTM this season with a goal and an assist to his name. He will now bolster the Cape side’s attacking options.
At CT City, he has been handed the jersey number 29.
Shonga is the second striker signed by CT City this campaign after the arrival of Ghanaian hitman Prince Opoku as the club look to replace Kermit Erasmus, who moved to Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
